Dr.Mattsson and Juan attended the Congress in Saskatoon, where they attended the demonstration presented by Dr.Curtis Pozniak on the breeding trials of wheat at the University of Saskatchewan field station.

Our team won second place at the GIA Workshop for our poster, “Engineering Blueberries for Future Farming: Gene Editing for Compact Plant Varieties.” The project highlights our research on using gene-editing approaches to develop compact blueberry varieties for future farming systems.

Sachi and piyumi presented a poster in the CSPB and ASBP main confrence in ottowa about the genetic variation and evolution of Blueberry Scorch and Shock Viruses and their implications for virus diagnostics and breeding disease-resistant blueberries.
